I went over-budget

and I hate that. Today is grocery shopping day. Last time I went, I bought just enough to get us through the end of the month, so not only was I lacking my usual surplus, but we also started running out of all the stuff I don't normally have to buy every time. Toilet paper, toothpaste, garbage bags, etc.

My grand total this time around: $215.79 Ouch. Still, that is for a family of 4, plus a zoo of animals for two or more weeks. That isn't bad considering.

So what can just over $215 get you when you shop with me?

  1. Honestly, I think you did fine for that amount of money. What kind of toilet paper did you buy? lol I'm rethinking this wal-mart brand toilet paper.

  2. Clarissa LOL It is an Aldi brand but it is about the same as Angel Soft. I used to only buy Quilted Northern, but when they went 3 ply I started to become concerned for the septic. I alternate between the Clarissa and Angel Soft depending on which is cheaper when I need it.

  3. There is no way I could buy that much food for $215, even shopping sales. I think you did great for that amount of money.
